ANTIQUE KEY AND LOCK MAKING

Our locksmith department can make antique keys with brass bows, to fit old locks or replace missing keys.

We also make locks or replace locks for all pieces of furniture.

Over 40 years, we have accumulated a very large collection of period keys, so any keys we make will be adapted from these, so will have a genuine and authentic look and feel to them.

Below are some examples of some of the more unusual keys and locks we have made and/or repaired.

Georgian Door Lock, Circa 1760.

Very rare, double pin - Adapted a period key with a new head to fit and work the lock.

Early Example of a Padlock. Circa 1800.

Made a new locking plate, repaired seized mechanism, and made a new key.

A Very Rare Padlock, with unusual flat key.

Repaired interior locking mechanism, and repaired existing key.

Bramah Locks.

Right: Drawer Lock, marked VR Bramah with Crown.
